Welcome to the third Monthly Musings newsletter wherein I let you know what’s going on in my world and why you should care.
March was a busy month. I finally got all the formatting complete and The Dragon’s Lullaby up at Smashwords. This is a site for authors and readers. If you aren’t familiar with the site, let me encourage you to visit. There are many great authors and books available there. The Dragon's Lullaby at Smashwords
I am proud to announce a new book release for June of this year. Codex Rosmanicus: Twelve Tales of Enchantment Compiled by Jaren the Traveller will be released by Bret James Stewart Books. It is currently being edited by romance authoress Karen-Anne Stewart. If you like New Adult Romance, check out her site. The artwork is being done by Julius Camenzind, the man who did the artwork for The Dragon’s Lullaby. Check out his work. Karen-Anne Stewart's Author Website Julius Camenzind's Website
I also have some new pics up on my author’s website. They were taken by A. Scott Lavender, principal photographer for Blue Ridge Hiker. Check out his work and get inspired to take a hike in the beautiful forests in the Brevard, North Carolina area. Blue Ridge Hiker Website
Lastly but (hopefully) not least, I worked on a poem this month. “The Wisdom of Trees VI: Elm: Tall Tom and the Laughing Elm” is a fantastic jaunt into a world of faerie, faith, and bad decisions, all told in a grand quasi-Burnsian style. The Wisdom of Trees has no release date yet, but I’ll be working it up and sending it out for art and editing once it is complete.
Thank you for checking out my newsletter. I’ll have more for you next month. Until then, keep reading and growing.

Sincerely, Bret James Stewart bretjamesstewart.com
